1. When choosing an alarm system, it’s important to consider the heat and humidity of the Spanish climate. High-quality alarm products must withstand Spain’s high temperatures. Ajax Security’s internal motion detectors feature temperature compensation functioning effectively in temperatures ranging from -10°C to+40°C Their outdoor products feature temperature compensation, ensuring reliable motion detection from -25°C to +60°C. However, some customers prefer live streaming, and certain properties benefit from having a secondary camera system installed alongside the alarm system.

1. The installation of video surveillance cameras in private homes must comply with the data protection regulations currently in force in Spain. To ensure that the use of these cameras is lawful and respects individuals’ privacy, and all camera placements are subject to regulations. 2. Display a Sign : You must inform individuals who may be captured by the cameras. For instance, signs should be placed in a clearly visible location, indicating that a video surveillance system is in use.

3. Access Rights: Individuals captured on camera have the right to request and obtain access to the footage in which they appear.
4. Position the camera so that it only covers your property, avoiding non-relevant areas like public roads or neighbouring homes.
5. Penalties for Improper Camera Placement Violating: Video surveillance regulations in private homes can result in legal repercussions. Depending on the severity of the violation, penalties may include fines from the Spanish Data
   Protection Agency (AEPD), mandatory deletion of illegally recorded footage, potential prohibition from installing security cameras on the property, and civil liability for damages caused to third parties.
